HMD Pulse 2 Series Specifications Leak Reveals Three New Budget Phones

HMD is preparing to expand its smartphone lineup with the Pulse 2 series, and a new leak has revealed key specifications for three models: Pulse 2, Pulse 2 Pro, and Pulse 2+. The information was shared by smashx_60, giving an early look at what users can expect from HMD’s upcoming budget-focused devices.

Shared Hardware Across the Series

The same chipset powers all three Pulse 2 models:

  • Unisoc Tiger T7250 processor
  • 12nm manufacturing process
  • Focused on everyday performance and power efficiency

Each device also features a large display and a battery designed for all-day usage.

HMD Pulse 2

The standard Pulse 2 is positioned as the entry-level option:

  • 6.7-inch display
  • 90Hz refresh rate
  • 5,000mAh battery
  • Rear cameras:
    • 50MP main
    • 2MP secondary
  • 8MP front camera

HMD Pulse 2 Pro

The Pulse 2 Pro adds better cameras and durability:

  • 6.7-inch display
  • 90Hz refresh rate
  • RAM options:
    • 6GB / 8GB
  • Storage options:
    • 128GB / 256GB
  • 5,000mAh battery
  • 20W fast charging
  • Camera setup:
    • 50MP rear camera
    • 8MP ultrawide
    • 50MP front camera
  • IP52 rating for dust and splash resistance

HMD Pulse 2+

The Pulse 2+ appears to focus on smoother visuals:

  • 6.7-inch display
  • 120Hz refresh rate
  • Rear cameras:
    • 50MP main
    • 13MP secondary
  • Same 5,000mAh battery and chipset as other models

What This Means

With a shared chipset and battery across the lineup, HMD is clearly differentiating the Pulse 2 series through display refresh rates, camera setups, and build features. The Pro model targets users looking for better cameras and durability, while the Pulse 2+ stands out with its higher refresh rate display.

HMD has not officially confirmed pricing or launch timelines yet, but more details are expected to surface soon.
