Vivo and iQOO mid-range phones get price hike from March 1

February 27, 2026 by Harish Reddy Gudi

Vivo and iQOO have revised pricing across several mid-range smartphones in India.
The updated prices take effect from March 1, impacting multiple variants across the T-series and Z-series lineups.

The increase ranges between ₹1,500 and ₹2,500 depending on the model and storage configuration.

This adjustment reflects broader mid-range pricing changes currently happening across the smartphone market.

Vivo T4x price change

New pricing applies across all memory variants.

Revised structure:

  • 6GB + 128GB moves from ₹15,499 to ₹16,999
  • 8GB + 128GB moves from ₹16,499 to ₹18,999
  • 8GB + 256GB moves from ₹18,499 to ₹20,999

The increase is between ₹1,500 and ₹2,500, depending on the variant.

Vivo T4R updated pricing

The T4R lineup sees a uniform increase across configurations.

New prices:

  • 8GB + 128GB now ₹22,999
  • 8GB + 256GB now ₹24,999
  • 12GB + 256GB now ₹26,999

Each variant increases by ₹2,000.

Vivo T4 pricing revision

The standard T4 follows a similar pattern.

Updated list:

  • 8GB + 128GB increases to ₹24,999
  • 8GB + 256GB increases to ₹26,999
  • 12GB + 256GB increases to ₹28,999

Again, the adjustment remains consistent at ₹2,000 across variants.

iQOO Z10x price change

iQOO’s entry-to-mid segment Z10x receives one of the largest corrections.

New pricing:

  • 6GB + 128GB rises to ₹16,999
  • 8GB + 128GB rises to ₹18,999
  • 8GB + 256GB rises to ₹20,499

The increase ranges from ₹2,000 to ₹2,500.

iQOO Z10R updated prices

The Z10R lineup mirrors Vivo’s T4R adjustments.

Revised pricing:

  • 8GB + 128GB now ₹22,999
  • 8GB + 256GB now ₹24,999
  • 12GB + 256GB now ₹26,999

Each configuration increases by ₹2,000.

iQOO Z10 pricing revision

The standard Z10 also sees a consistent change.

New prices:

  • 8GB + 128GB now ₹24,999
  • 8GB + 256GB now ₹26,999
  • 12GB + 256GB now ₹28,999

All variants rise by ₹2,000.

What this means for buyers

The revision mainly affects popular performance-focused mid-range devices.

Practical impact:

  • Buyers planning upgrades may pay more after March 1
  • Exchange offers and launch pricing become more important
  • The gap between entry flagship and mid-range devices continues to narrow
  • Brands appear to be adjusting pricing ahead of new launches

Purchasing before the effective date can result in savings of up to ₹2,500, depending on the model.

Why prices are shifting

While no official explanation accompanies the change, typical reasons for such adjustments include:

  • Component cost fluctuations
  • Currency movement
  • Inventory transitions ahead of refresh cycles
  • Positioning new models in the same price band

This suggests broader mid-range corrections rather than a single brand decision.

Market direction to watch

If similar revisions expand to other brands, the ₹15K–₹30K segment could gradually move upward.

Potential effects:

  • Stronger focus on value features like battery and AI
  • More aggressive bank offers to offset MRP increases
  • Faster refresh cycles to justify pricing
  • Increased competition from budget flagships

For buyers tracking deals, timing becomes more important than specifications alone.
